Some of my most recent botanical work was done while in an artist residency in Central Florida.  I spent the month of April wandering through both natural preserves and groomed gardens.  The exuberance of the plant life in both amazed.  The suite of images, Hard Light/Hot Color was my reaction to spending time in the constant sun, with Golden Trumpet trees, Bougainvillea, and dense green canopies. Other recent work reflects travels in Puglia and the Peloponnese.  Click on the image below to view these pieces.
